This Creamy Mushroom Pasta is a wonderful meal for getting your toddler involved in, as mushrooms chop really nicely with the doddl toddler knife! Helping to prepare the meals they eat is a really good way of getting your little one interested and involved in their food.

   

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups (7 oz) dried pasta

3.5 oz mushrooms

2 cloves garlic

1/2 cup (3.5 oz) cream cheese

3 fl oz low salt vegetable stock

5 fl oz cream

-A very good grinding of black pepper

Method

-Cook the pasta according to packet instructions

-In a deep skillet fry the chopped mushrooms for 3-4 minutes until soft and browning

-Add the garlic and cook for a further couple of minutes

-Then add the vegetable stock and cream cheese, stirring to combine thoroughly

-Add the black pepper and allow to simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened up

-Finish the sauce by adding the cream, then stir through your cooked drained pasta

Serves 2 adults and one toddler
