This snack is definitely “more-ish”, and you can feel good about letting your little ones munch on it or pair it with lunch!
1 bundle of Kale
1Tbsp Olive Oil
1Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
Preheat your oven to 300 F and line your baking sheet(s) with parchment paper. Trim your Kale into 1” pieces (you can cut or tear it), but make sure to remove the thick stem in the center of each leaf. In a bowl, pour your olive oil over the top and toss the kale to coat it, and then spread it on the baking sheet with as much space between each leaf as you can (try to not overlap). Let your little one help you sprinkle nutritional yeast on top! You can add more or less defending on preference but nutritional yeast gives a nice cheese flavor while being vegan and a great source of nutrients!
Place your tray in the oven for 15 minutes or so. Kale chips burn easily so keep a close eye, and then after you take them out, let them cool to finish crisping up. Enjoy!
